Obituary of Jean Mae Cole

Jean Mae Cole,of Chester Twp., passed away on Friday,March 2,2012 at the Morristown Medical Center following a short illness. She was 80 years old. Born in Denville, Mrs. Cole had lived in Chester Twp. for 45 years.She was an Executive Secretary for the Mendham Borough School System for 20 years,retiring in 1997. She had also worked as an Executive Secretary in the Chester School System in the Traffic Control division of Warner-Lambert. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pearl Chapter #79 of Dover for over 50 years.She was also a member of The Friends of the Chester Library and Treasurer for the Chester PAA Soccer Association from 1977-1981. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William J. and her son, William R. and his wife Raquel of Roxbury, her grandson Logan,Her brother, Vernon Hopler Jr. and his wife Christine of Stroudsburg,PA and her Goddaughter,Karen Jean Vanderhoof of Roxbury. A visitation will be held on Tuesday,March 6, 2012 from 3-5 & 7-8:30 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph www.Tuttlefh.com the Funeral Service will follow at 8:30 PM also at the funeral home.
