Obituary of Joan M. Brennan

Joan M. Brennan, 75, of Mine Hill, passed away Sunday, February 26th, 2012 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. Joan was born in Dover and has been a resident of Mine Hill Township since 1964. She worked as a Business Administrator for the Mine Hill Township Board of Education and retired in 1997 after 20 years. Member of the Mine Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary where she held various officer positions over the years. Also a member of the Mine Hill Good Years Club; a volunteer for the Mine Hill Library and a member of the Juvenile Conference Committee of Dover. Former Mine Hill PTA member, Girl Scout Leader and cheerleading coach. Survived by her daughter Vicky Calabro and husband Mark of Flemington and her son Walter Woodhull and wife Denise of Dover; two sisters Elaine Terry and husband Dwight of OK and Eileen Meola of Randolph; brother Ralph Hunter and wife Ellen of WV. Also survived by six grandchildren Kristen and Leah Calabro, David, Samantha, Shelby and Shane Woodhull. Predeceased by her husband Peter in 2007. Visitation Tuesday, February 28th, 2012, 4 - 8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012, 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
