Obituary of Rosalind Richer Anderson

Randolph High School secretary Rosalind Richer Anderson, 92, died on February 27, 2012, the 53rd anniversary of her marriage to the Thomas Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was a long term secretary in the Randolph Township School system, where she worked for several Randolph High School principals. She was a resident of Randolph, beginning in 1951. She was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 116 and active in the Dover Jewish Center, as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to Sebastian, Florida, in 2004, with her late daughter, Barbara Vidal, and son-in-law, John Vidal. Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Harry and Esther Galowitz Greenberg. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Stanley and Robert; daughter, Barbara, and husbands, Seymour Richer and Thomas Anderson. She is survived by her son, Stephen Richer of Gulfport, Mississippi; son-in-law, John Vidal; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. Visitation Thursday, March 1, 2012, 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home, 10:00 AM Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Congregation Beth Israel, 12277 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503
