David Sebastian, 87, of Rockaway, passed away Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, following a short illness. David was born in Franklin and previously lived in Wharton. Member of the Bethlehem Church, Randolph. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He worked as a Engineering Technician at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township and retired in 1989. Survived by his wife Inez of 64 years; two children David Sebastian, Jr. and wife Betty of NY and Susan Sebastian of Rockaway; two grandchildren Jonathan Sebastian and Sarah Ramos; two great-grandchildren Christian Ramos and Ayden Ramos and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by two brothers Charles Sebastian and Paul Sebastian and his sister Julia Cox. Predeceased by five brothers and five sisters. Visitation Sunday, February 5th, 2012, 1:00 - 5:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 6th, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Church, 758 State Highway 10, Randolph. Graveside Service on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012, 10:00 AM at North Hardyston Cemetery, North Church Road, Hardyston Township, NJ 07419. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Bethlehem Church, 758 State Highway 10, Randolph, NJ 07869 or Gideon Memorial Bible Foundation, 84 Broadway, Denville, NJ 07834.
