Obituary of Robert W. Williams

Robert W. Williams, 89, of Orlando, FL, passed away Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. Robert was born in Detroit, MI and has been a resident of Orlando since 1993. Moved to Orlando from Katonah, NY where he lived from 1963-1993 and prior to that he lived in Downsville, NY 1945-1963. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. Mr. Williams worked as a High School Principal at John Jay High School, Katonah, NY and retired in 1979 after 19 years. Member of the American Legion Post #167, James S. Moore, Downsville, NY. Survived by his wife, Shirley of 62 years; his children Russell, Patricia Schuenzel and husband Peter, Richard, and daughter Pamela Williams. Also survived by 3 grandchildren Jennifer Van Santvoord, Robert Cross and Adelyn Schuenzel and 2 great-grandchildren Jackson & Ella. Predeceased by his sister Helen Reid.
