Lois "Joan" Steger,age 72 of Hopatcong, passed away on Friday, January 27,2012 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville after a long illness.
Born and raised in Cedar Knolls,She moved to Hopatcong in 1966.Joan graduated from Bayley Ellard High School in 1957.
She worked as a School Bus Driver for Byram Bus Lines for 18 years,retiring in 1992.
She is survived by Herbert,her husband of 53 years. Her two sons, James and his wife Patricia of Hampton Twp.,William and his wife Connie of Hopatcong.Her daughter, Deborah Mabey and her husband Kenneth Jr. of Fredon Twp..Six Grandchildren,Brian,Lauren,
Heather,Stephanie,Melanie and Hannah.Her sister Ann Marra and her husband Pete of Denville, as well as many nieces,nephews,grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her brother James Dolan in 2011.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday,January 31, 2012 from 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph. www.Tuttlefh.com
The Funeral will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 also at the Funeral Home.
Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
