Obituary of Edwin A. Voynik

Edwin A. Voynik, of Denville, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bennington and USS Leyte. Mr. Voynik worked for NJ Bell Telephone Company for 48 years as a manager. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Denville. Mr. Voynik loved spending time with his family and loved to travel around the world with his wife. Edwin is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joan(nee Toriello), devoted daughters Andrea of Denville Joanne Tavares and her husband Manny of Doylestown, PA and his cherished granddaughter Arianna Tavares. Also survived by his sister Irene Voynik of Scotch Plains and brothers Richard of Rahway and Gerald of Jacksonville, FL. Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Myers Ave., Denville (973-627-0269) on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:00AM. Visitation at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 1:00PM - 5:00PM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
