Napoleon W. Fletcher AGE: 93 • Rockaway Boro Rest came peacefully to Napoleon Walter Fletcher, Jr., Tuesday, January 17, 2012, after a brief illness. He departed this life at Hospice of the Valley, Sherman Home in Phoenix, Arizona. Napoleon was born July 19, 1918, in Westville, Sc. He was 93 years. Napoleon attended school in Westville, SC, and moved to New Jersey in the early 1930s. On July 31, 1941, he married the late Effie Smith. This union was blessed with one faithful daughter, JoAnn. He resided in the Rockaway, NJ, area for over 70 years before moving to Arizona to live with his daughter and son-in-law, Robert Maillard. Napoleon was employed at National Gypsum for 18 years until this company moved to Delaware, MD. He then joined Aircraft Radio, a division of Cessna Aircraft where he remained until his retirement. Napoleon Fletcher was a truthful member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dover, NJ where he served as a Deacon. Napoleon's memory will be forever cherished by his daughter, JoAnn and Son-in-law, Robert of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Robert (Laura) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Dawn Samuelson (William) of West New York, NJ; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph, on Friday, Jan. 27, at 1:00PM. Visitation with services to begin at 10:00AM.
