Hilda G. Lopes, 83, passed away on January 13, 2012 at St. Clares, Dover. Born on November 25, 1928 in Ermida, Portugal she was a resident of Lake Hopatcong since 1992 moving from Elizabeth, NJ. Hilda was a longtime seamstress for Miranda MFG., Elizabeth, NJ retiring in 1989. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church in Lake Hopatcong.
Survived by 2 children Carlos Santos and wife Rosa of Linden, Gina Figueiredo and husband Al of Lake Hopatcong; 1 sister Palmira Coimbra of Elizabeth; 4 grandchildren Steven, Christopher and Michael Malakuskie, Samantha Santos; and 3 great grandchildren Gavin, Sydney and Reese.
Visitation will be on Tuesday at Tuttle Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Services will be held Wed., Jan 18, 2012 at 10:00am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Lake Hopatcong.
