Kenneth Karinja, 53, of Hopatcong, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 12 th , 2014, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Kenneth was born in Hoboken, formerly of Rockaway and Weehawken before residing in Hopatcong in 1986. He was an owner/operator of a general contracting company for over 35 years. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survived by his beloved wife and best friend Jeanne Pilat Karinja of 36 years; two daughters Nadine and Justine. Also survived by two brothers Christian, Jr. and Craig. Predeceased by his parents Christian and Ada.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16 th , 2014, 4:00-8:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt. 10 West, Randolph, ( www.tuttlefh.com ). A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 17 th , 2014, 10:00AM, at St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church, Rockaway.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the Foundation of Morristown Medical Center, 475 South St., Morristown, NJ 07960.
