Obituary of Charles Philip Ciancia

Charles Philip Ciancia, 95, of Randolph, passed away suddenly Monday, January 9th, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Charles was born in West Hoboken and has been a resident of Randolph since 1980, he moved here from Parsippany. He grew up in Cliffside Park, and previously lived in Fort Lee for 17 years.
He worked as a Civil Engineer at Curtiss Wright, Wood-Ridge, and retired in 1980 after 40 years.
He graduated with a degree in Engineering from New York University. Member of the Randolph Senior Citizens. He loved travelling and spending time with his family. He was still living in his home and loved being outdoors and working in his yard.
Survived by his son Philip M. and his wife Mary of Meridian, ID, two daughters Adrienne Ciancia of Randolph and Carol Ciancia O'Malley and her husband Peter of Oakland; granddaughter Jaime Van Mourick and her husband David. Also survived by his brother Jeremiah Ciancia and his wife Yolanda of Leonia and sister Evelyn Castellucci of Parsippany. Predeceased by his wife Rose in 1997.
Visitation Thursday, January 12th, 2012, 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, West, Randolph. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, January 13th, 2012, 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
