Obituary of Dinorah (Perez) Aroche

Dinorah Aroche (Perez) passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011, after a short illness. Dinorah was born in Santa Clara, Cuba on August 5, 1937. Seeking freedom for herself and her family, she fled her native Cuba and arrived in Dover in 1971. Soon after her arrival, she was employed by Alcoa Howmet retiring in 2003 after 32 years of service. In 1998, she moved to Denville, New Jersey.
Dinorah was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was an avid cook, famous for her Cuban meals and, especially, her desserts. She provided love not only to her family but to all those around her always thinking of others before herself. Dinorah was grateful for the opportunities this country gave her and her family and especially proud when she became a U.S. Citizen.
Dinorah is predeceased by her parents, Pedro and Felicia Perez, and her brother, Pedro Perez. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sylvia Fuentes (Becerra), beloved son, Leonel Aroche and her grandchildren, Gabrielle & Christian Fuentes, all of Denville NJ. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carmen Perez of Dover, a nephew, Edward Perez of Florida, and her niece, Maria Cloughly of Dover.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Dover. Interment will be private.
