Obituary of Kevin A. DeFreest

Kevin A. DeFreest, 59, of Randolph, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Kevin was born in Paterson and has been a resident of Randolph since 1990, moved here from Oakland where he lived most of his life. He worked as an Instrumental Music Teacher at Ramapo Indian Hills Regional Board of Education, Oakland and retired in 2010 after 34 years. He was a member of The Huguenot Society and The Sons of the American Revolution. He was an avid cyclist and also played the trumpet for various organizations. Kevin is survived by his wife Nancy; three children Lauren DeFreest-Handa of New Providence, Melissa DeFreest of Morristown and Timothy at home. Also survived by his brother Dennis of PA and his sister Eileen DeFreest of London, England and his grandson Aidan. Visitation Friday, October 28th, 2011, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ). Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 2011, 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
