Clinton W. Giambattista, 83, of Hackettstown, formerly of Randolph for 35 years died on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover, NJ. He was born in East Orange, NJ. He was employed by the US Navy as a Petty Officer in Norfolk, VA, he served from 1945-1975, retiring in 1975 after 30 years. He served in WWII, Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War in the Navy. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, he worked for the Randolph Dept. of Public Works, retiring in 1994. He was a member of VFW Post #7333 of Randolph. He was a member of the American Legion Post #91 of Wharton; member of the Rose City Lodge #93 F. & A.M. of Madison. He was predeceased by his wife, Diane in June 2011. He is survived by his brother, Dale of Wharton. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10AM to 1:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Rt. 10 W, Randolph, NJ 07869 www.tuttlefh.com. The service was on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 1:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to Randolph VFW Post 7333 c/o Jack Sassaman, 22 Crestwood Dr., Randolph, NJ 07869.
