Obituary of Anna Biase

Anna (nee: Torsiello) Biase daughter of the late Antonio and Vinzenza (nee: Purcella) Trusella, residing in Rockaway Township, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Care One Nursing Home in Parsippany. Anna was born in Belleville, spent most of her life in Newark and Bloomfield before moving to Morris County. Anna was predeceased in 1987 by her beloved husband Felice (Phil) Biase. She is also predeceased by her siblings Samuel Torsiello and Josephine Menio. She is survived by her son Richard Michael, daughter Felicia, grandson Richard Gerard and wife Kristin Biase, and great-grandsons Richard and Philip. Anna is also survived by Michael and Maria Biase and Mildred Biase, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Anna worked as a switchboard operator and seamstress for many years before retiring.
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Clement Pope & Martyr Church, 154 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Dover at 10:00 AM. on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, from 3 – 5 PM and 7 - 9 PM. (www.tuttlefh.com)
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations may be made in Anna’s memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
