Obituary of Agnes Pomeroy

Agnes "Doris" Pomeroy, 81, of Rockaway Township, passed away Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, following a short illness. Agnes was born in Paterson.
She was a member of the Rockaway Valley United Methodist Church, Boonton Township.
She worked as a Teacher at the West Essex High School, Caldwell. Retired after working 36 years.
Agnes is survived by her daughter Karin Ruppel and husband Robert of Randolph; her longtime companion Gene Egedy of Rockaway; two grandchildren Megan Ruppel and Kyle Ruppel and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1984 and her two brothers William Murdock and James Murdock.
Visitation Saturday, September 3, 2011, 1:00 - 5:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Memorial Service will be held at the Rockaway Valley United Methodist Church (973-335-2606), 38 Valley Road, Boonton Township, NJ 07005 at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 4th, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: The Seeing Eye, PO Box 375, Morristown,, NJ 07963.
