Obituary of James Francis Krug

Friday May 1, 2009 9:00 Mass James Francis Krug Mr. James Francis Krug, 74, of Toms River passed away suddenly Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Toms River Community Medical Center, Toms River. Resident of Toms River since 2000, moved here from White Meadow Lake. Mr. Krug was born in Newark. He was a Parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Toms River where he also served as an usher. He served in the U.S. Marines Corp in the Korean War. He worked as a Sales Manager at Parts Unlimited, Bloomfield. Retired in 1997 after 41 years. He was Officer of the Year for Pinkerton Security in 1993. He was president of the Italian American Club in Toms River. Treasurer of Beachwood Seniors Club. Past Exalted Ruler of the B.P.O.E. of Rockaway. Graduated from St. Michael's High School in Newark in 1953. Survived by Loretta Joan Krug his wife of 51 years; one son James F. Krug Jr. & his wife Lisa of Columbia; two daughters Susan J. Schmitt & husband Will of Ledgewood, Kathy A. Spiropoulos & husband Bobby of Randolph, nine grandchildren Danielle, Kyle, Anthony, Christopher, Angelica, Ashley, Dimitri, Zachary & Jenna; two great-grandchildren Brianna & Braeden. Also survived by his brother John Krug of Florida and two sisters Margaret Nisivoccia of Clifton and Genevieve Bolger of Chicago. Funeral Services will be held at St. Therese R.C. Church, Succasunna, at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2009. Visitation Thursday, April 30, 2009, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
