Arnold S. Veevers, 89, of East Hanover, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at a friend's home. Arnold was born in Glen Ridge. He worked for Forbes Financial, NY, NY for ten years before his retirement. Mr. Veevers served as a PFC in US Army during WWII. He was a member of the Antique Truck Club, Morris County.
Arnold is survived by his three sons-Stephen, John, and James. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, close friends of the family, and his trucker friends. He was predeceased by his wife Dolores in 2003.
There will be a Graveside Service 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield (973-748-1253). In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to American Truck Historical Society, Metro Jersey Chapter, 27 Mountain Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
