Obituary of Albert B. Huntington

Albert B. Huntington of Lafayette, NJ, passed away Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 at Newton Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. He was 74 years of age.
Albert was born April 30th, 1937 and grew up in the Paterson area.
Albert served in the New Jersey National Guard, and attended William Paterson University and Fordham University. He became an English teacher and taught English and Language Arts for 35 years at Caldwell district schools.
Albert retired from teaching in 1998 and enjoyed his years as an avid photographer, book lover, movie buff, music lover, world traveler, joke-teller and coffee aficionado.
He remains a beloved husband, father; grandfather, brother, uncle, step-father and friend.
He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Huntington, and brothers, Charles and Robert.
He is survived by his wife Carole Huntington, former wife Marilyn, sons Matthew Huntington and his wife Kristina, Brett Huntington and his wife Jennifer, step-children Blythe Duffy and her husband Michael, and Clayton Baker, brother Bernard and his wife Gail, sister Judith Ann and her husband James Wittig, and sister-in-law Amelia (Mimi) Huntington.
Albert is also survived by his grandchildren Owen, Cameron, William, Ava and Paige, as well as many nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 6th, 2011, 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Highway, Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albert and Carole’s favorite charities - United Spinal Association, Milford, NH; Market Street Mission of Morristown; Covenant House, NYC and The Salvation Army.
