Obituary of Emilie M. Muench

Emilie M. Muench, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Franciscan Oaks Health Center in Denville.She was 93 years old. Born and raised in Clifton, Emilie lived in Denville since 2005, she was also a longtime resident of Lake Hopatcong. She worked as an administrative assistant for Exxon Mobil in Morris Plains,retiring in 1985 after 10 years.Emilie was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Lake Hopatcong, as well as a member of the Holy Rosary Society.She was also a member of the Regina Mundi Columbiettes, Council # 3969 of Clifton,The Lakeland Senior Citizens of Jefferson Twp. and member and trustee of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Society. She is survived by her sister: Dorothy Coale of Hopatcong, her brother Raymond Halupka and his wife Ann of Clifton, as well as many cousins,nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Erwin in 1998,also by her sisters:Irene Benko,Mary Dubansky,Anna Mae Halupka,Eleanor Derkacs and her brother:Joseph Halupka. A visitation will be held on Tuesday,August 2, 2011 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph. www.Tuttlefh.com The funeral mass will be on Wednesday,August 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church in Lake Hopatcong. Interment will follow at Gate Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
