Obituary of Raffaele A. Timpani

AGE: 84 • Randolph Raffaele A. Timpani, 84, of Randolph, passed away Friday, June 17th, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, following a short illness. Raffaele was born in S. Cristina, D'Aspromonte, Italy. In 1961 he moved to Dover, NJ with his wife and young daughter. He resided in Dover where he started Timpani Cabinets, a custom cabinet and furniture business that he operated until his retirement in 1996. He moved to Randolph Township in 2006. He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Dover. Raffaele is survived by his wife of 56 years, Caterina; three children Angela Timpani of Randolph, Dominic and wife Barbara of Dover, and Raymond and wife Karen of Randolph; four brothers Eugenio, Elmo, Gino, and Arturo all of Italy. Also survived by five grandchildren Raymond, Michael, Christina, Nicole, and Raffaele. Predeceased by two brothers Luigi and Antonio. Visitation Tuesday, June 21st, 2011, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Dover, at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover.
