Obituary of Karl Hipp

Karl Hipp, 81, of Rockaway passed away Thursday, December 26 th , 2013, at Care one at Hanover, Whippany following a short illness. Karl was born and raised in Kirchleerau, Switzerland. He has been a resident of Rockaway since 2010, formerly resided in Randolph for 40 years. He was the owner of Karl Hipp and Associates, from which he retired in 2001 after 22 years. Karl served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, he also served in the Swiss Army. He was a member of the Swiss Men’s Choir and The Seas Sailing Club. Survived by Elsa, his wife of 45 years; son Karl W. and his wife Michele of Dover; daughter Susanne Chiefa and her husband Mike of Berkeley Heights. Also survived by four grandchildren Annelise, Anderson, Michael “Mac”, and Lucia. Visitation will be held Monday, December 30th, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, ( www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 31st, 2013 at 10 AM at the Mine Hill Presbyterian Church, 213 Route 46 West, Mine Hill(973-361-6699).
