Obituary of Louisa Alena Wall

Louisa Alena Wall, 85, died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Louisa was born on July 12, 1925 and was a lifelong resident of Dover. After graduating from Dover High School she worked at Allenwood Steel Company (Scrub Oaks Division in Mine Hill) from 1946-1966. She was the Deputy Clerk for the Borough of Rockaway from 1966-1975 and worked for the Morris County Shade Tree Commission from 1975-1989. During this time she was also part-time owner of Holly's Folly Ceramic Shop on Main St. in Rockaway. She is survived by her 3 sisters, Roberta Dickerson of Dover, Shirley Burgess and her husband Warren of Randolph and Helen Peterson of Dover, as well as many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Helen Steeves, her 2 sisters, Beatrice Parzaro and Betty Sullivan and her husband of 50 years, Anthony David Wall. She was a member of the Purity and Pearl Chapters, Order of the Eastern Star in Wharton and Dover, the Dover Senior Citizens and the Leisure Club of Dover. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, 10:00 A.M.
