Charles Penzenik, 94, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, June 1st, 2011, at home, following a long illness. Charles was born in Proctor, VT. He moved from Mt. Hope to Dover in 1964.
He was a member of St. Bernard's R.C. Church in Mt. Hope.
He worked as a Miner at McHale Brothers Inc., Rockaway.
Charles is survived by two children Frances Krein and her husband Anton of Bath, PA and Gail Harris and her husband Robert Bruce of Chatham; two grandchildren Basil Harris and Maeve Harris; two great-grandchildren Max and David Portnow; and his sister Edwina McKeen.
Predeceased by his wife Eva in 2003 and his three brothers Emile Penzenik, Edward Penzenik, and Rudy Penzenik.
Visitation Sunday, June 5th, 2011, 1:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Services will be held at St. Bernards R.C. Church, 446 Mt. Hope Road, Wharton, NJ 07885 (973-627-0066) at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 6th, 2011. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
