Surendra Lal, 64, of Hopatcong, passed away Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, following a long illness.
Surendra was born in Delhi, India.
He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Automatic Switch Company, Florham Park and retired in 2010 after 32 years.
Survived by two sons Vikrant Lal of Millburn and Viraj Lal of Hopatcong; two brothers Brijendra of Indore, India and Virendra of Chennai, India; two sisters Madhuri of Bombay, India, Shalini of Somerset, and Veena of India; and his sister-in-law Uma Lal.
Predeceased by Amita, his wife of 35 years in 2010 and also his three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation Monday, May 23rd, 2011, 5 - 9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Services will be held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Crematory, Basking Ridge, at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Box 110, Morristown, NJ 07962.
