Obituary of Joseph X. Hardman

Joe passed away peacefully, at home Wednesday, December 25 th , 2013, at the age of 82. Joe was an avid bowler. He bowled at 300 Club, Paramus, Holiday Lanes, Oakland, and Circle Lanes, Ledgewood, where he made many friends. Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY and also lived in Ridgewood, Oakland, Fairfield, and has been a resident of Succasunna for the past 30 years. He graduated from Seaton Hall University after serving as a Navy Pilot during the Korean War. Before retiring he had a career as an engineering consultant for several telcom companies around the United States, England, and Australia. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Elaine, his son Brian and his wife Diane, his daughter Leigh Tousley and her husband Brian. Also surviving are his step children Dawn Brown and her husband Baron, William Fitzpatrick and his wife Karen, Sean Fitzpatrick, and Robert Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his step daughter Tracy Ann Nickens and his great grandson. Visistation will be held Sunday, December 29 th , 2013, 2-6 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Rt. 10, Randolph, ( www.tuttlefh.com ). Funeral Services will be held Monday, Decemebr 30 th , 2013, 10 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
