Obituary of Paul Richard Henderson

Paul Richard Henderson, 71, of Mine Hill, passed away suddenly, at home, Friday, April 8th, 2011. Paul was born in New York, NY. He grew up in East Orange, graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School, East Orange before moving to Parsippany. Paul resided his last 42 years in Mine Hill. He received his B.A. Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison. He was a long-standing Parishioner and an usher at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton. He served in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. For many years he worked as a Director of Sales at Compliant Logistics, Gothenburg, Sweden. Previously coached boys and girls basketball for St. Mary's C.Y.O. and Canfield Avenue School. Survived by his daughter Laura Bradford of Carmel, IN; two grandchildren Sean & Kaitlyn; three nieces Christine McConnell, Colleen Schultz (also goddaughter), and Jennifer Kretzer. Predeceased by his wife Loretta M. in 1991. Visitation Wednesday, April 13th, 2011, 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton, (973-366-0184) at 11:00 A.M. also on Wednesday. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Sisters of Charity Haiti Fund, Box 476, Convent Station, NJ 07961.
