Obituary of James Edward Rafferty

James Edward Rafferty, 81, of Randolph, NJ passed away Saturday, April 2nd, 2011. Born in Bay City, MI, James has been a resident of Randolph for the last 30 years. Moved here from West Bloomfield, MI. He was a Parishioner of Resurrection Parish, Randolph, NJ . He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked was a District Manager at A. T. & T., Piscataway, and retired in 1987 after 31 years. Graduated from Michigan State University in 1952. Survived by Eleanor (neeKirst), his beloved wife of 53 years; three sister-in-laws Ruth Ann Rafferty of MA, Patricia Youmans and her husband Don of MI, and Charlene Pappenheimer and her husband Ernie of MI; and his brother-in-law Chet Lesinski of MI. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his friends Deacon Ed and Sandra Keegan of Randolph, NJ. Predeceased by his brother Jerry and his sister Maureen Lesinski. Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ (973-895-7203), at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 8th, 2011.
