Henry F. Lange Sr., 78, of Rockaway, N.J., formerly of Bayonne, N.J., died peacefully at home on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, surrounded by his family. Henry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him. Visitation is on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt. 10 W., Randolph, N.J., www.tuttlefh.com. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church, 154 Mount Pleasant Ave., Dover, N.J., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, (973) 366-7095. Interment chapel service will be at Locust Hill, Dover. Henry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, retired from Walter Kidde in 1982 and continued working in the fire extinguisher industry until 1996, when he permanently retired and spent most of his time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his lottery playing, baseball caps, and whistling. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret (Collins) Lange; his children and their spouses, Henry and Patrice Lange, Kathleen and Jimmie Moore, and Donna and Michael Wolenski; his loving grandchildren, Kelly Sturdy-Lange and her spouse, Kristen Sturdy-Lange; Daniel Lange Fego and his spouse, Tracy Fego; Tracy Wolenski Scafidi, Brandon Lange, Jimmie Moore III, Bryan Lange, Nicole Wolenski and Zachary Moore; his great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Paige and Abigail; his sisters, Dorothy Coe and Elsie Wiesenthal, and their spouses, Don and George; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Lange, who was like a sister to him; Geraldine Galdon and her spouse, Kenneth, and Beth Collins. He was predeceased by his loving son, Daniel Lange, whom he loved and missed dearly; his brother and best friend, Robert Lange, and his sister, Henrietta Kennedy. Henry was loved by many nieces and nephews who all knew him as Uncle Hank. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, Calif. 90266, www.pancan.org.
