Obituary of Ralph N. MacNaughten

Ralph N. MacNaughten, 90, of Mine Hill, passed away Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, following a short illness. Ralph was born in Independence Township and has been a resident of Mine Hill since 1982, moved here from Dover. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was Owner/Operator of Ralph's Mine Hill Market, Mine Hill, and retired in 1990 after 23 years. Prior to owning Ralph's Mine Hill Market, he owned the Garden State Grocery Store in Dover. After his retirement he volunteered for the Mine Hill Recreation Department and coached little league. He is survived by his wife Betty; daughter Sandi MacNaughten of Lake Hiawatha and son Rick MacNaughten of Mine Hill. Also survived by his two dogs Lady and AnaBelle. Visitation Thursday, February 17th, 2011, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home, 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 18th, 2011. Interment will follow at Millbrook Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to the Mine Hill Rescue Squad, 10 Baker Street, Mine Hill, NJ 07803 or Lakeland Animal Haven, 29 Pine Street, Kenvil, NJ 07847 or Noah's Ark, 1915 Route 46 West, Ledgewood, NJ 07852.
