Obituary of Lois Drake

Lois Drake,79 of Randolph,passed away on Sunday,January 30, 2011 at St.Clares Hospital in Dover.Lois was born in Paterson and grew up in Clifton, and was a resident of Randolph since 1954. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1948 and from N.Y.U. in 1953.Lois was an Elder and active member of the First Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dover, as well as a Soprano in the Choir.She also volunteered at the Newton Presbytery.She was a Teacher at the Center Grove Elementary School in Randolph during the 1970's and had been an active member of the Ironia Reelers Square Dancing Club. She is survived by, James,her husband of 57 years. Her sons, Scott James and his wife Brenda of Greer,SC,Todd Robert and his wife Elizabeth of Cold Spring,NY.Her daughters,Barbara Lois Scruggs and her husband Michael of Pompton Plains, Amanda Drake Liu and her husband Dongping of Randolph.Also 8 grandchildren,Amelia,Kayla,Sara,Peter,Jessie,Hannah,Jaimie and Jasper.As well as many nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her sister Joan Meyer in 2010. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-8:30 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10 West, Randolph,NJ www.Tuttlefh.com.
