Bruno Spano, 61, of Dover, passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Born in Calabria, Italy, Bruno has been a resident of Dover for 20 years. He worked as Executive Chef at Anthony & Sons Bakery, Denville since the opening of the Italian Specialty Store in 2008. He served as a paratrooper in the Italian military before becoming a United States Citizen in 1993. Bruno is survived by his wife Joanne (nee Kenny) of 25 years; three children Christina, Stephanie, and Frank; three sisters Mela, Lara, and Perla. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Domenico. Visitation Friday, January 21st, 2011, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tufflefh.com). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church (973-366-0184), Wharton, at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to N.J. Food Bank, 31 Evans Terminal, Hillside,, NJ 07205 (NJFoodbank.org).
