Obituary of Louis Joseph Venezia

Louis Joseph Venezia, 66, of Morris Plains, N.J., died on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at home, after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born September 13, 1944 in Morristown, N.J. He attended Saint Margaret’s Parochial School, Bayley-Ellard High School, and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison NJ, where he earned undergraduate and masters degrees. He served in the United States Army as a Specialist (Fifth Grade) in the Army Security Agency (USASA). After a long career in finance—including time at BASF, Ciba-Geigy, Airwick Industries—he retired from Tag Heuer in 2003 as vice president of operations. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Catherine (nee Petrocelli) ; sons, Louis John and Kevin; daughter, Stephanie; in-laws, Vincent and Julia Petrocelli; brother Joseph and wife Carol; brothers/sisters-in-law Richard and Kathi Petrocelli, Sandy and Joseph Cuozzo, Joan and George Doumas. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Louise (nee Marino) Venezia.
