Josephine M. Salina, 97, died December 13, 2013, at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Succasunna, New Jersey. She was born July 16, 1916, in Utica, New York, to parents, Walter and Alexandra Kozlowski. During her early childhood, she moved to Dover, New Jersey, where she resided most of her life in the Bowlbyville Section of Dover. She was a graduate of Dover High School. Josephine was preceded in death by her cherished husband of forty-seven years and best friend, John Salina, in 1991, and beloved son, David, in 2001. Josephine and John enjoyed traveling and golf. They traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Caribbean Islands, Latin and South America, Asia, and Africa. Her interest included family, gardening and sewing. She retired from Picatinny Arsenal in 1976 where she was employed as a Secretary. Josephine is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol A. Salina, San Diego, California, her niece Laura A. Narcise, and her nephews Edward G. and Michael j. Murray, all of Dover. She is also survived by a nephew, John N. Murray, Trucksville, PA, a niece, Mary Lawery, Dover, a nephew, Walter Kozlowski, Downington, PA, and several additional nieces and nephews residing in Texas and Florida. Relatives and friends can visit with the family on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Dover, New Jersey, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, New Jersey.
