Obituary of Ruth W. McKinney

Ruth W. McKinney, 90, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2011 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem, PA. Ruth was born in Newark and has been a resident of Bethlehem since 2004. Prior to that she resided in Randolph. She was a member of The Denville Community Church United Methodist Church, Denville. Ruth worked as a Clerk for the Morris County Board of Elections, Morristown, and retired in 1985 after many years. Member of the Randolph Township Senior Citizens Club and the Mt. Freedom Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a homemaker, who loved her family, travelling, and knitting. Ruth is survived by her son Kevin L. and his wife Rebecca of Allentown, PA; two granddaughters Brenna Duffy and her husband Josh of Minneapolis, MN and Kelsey McKinney of Allentown, and her great-granddaughter Sloane. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Harry R. McKinney in 1984 and her son H. Richard McKinney Jr. in 1986. Visitation Thursday, January 6th, 2011, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 7th, 2011, 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery, Succasunna.
