Obituary of Mary Ann Alfano

Mary Ann Alfano, 91, of Hackettstown, passed away Monday, December 20th, 2010 at Easton Nursing Center, Easton, PA following a short illness. Born in Elizabeth, she has been a resident of Hackettstown since 1982.
She worked as a Secretary for the Port Authority of NY & NJ and retired in 1984 after 10 years.
She founded Camp Star for mentally handicapped children in the Union County area. She continued to support handicapped children through the Center For Humanistic Change in Stanhope.
Mary Ann is survived by two sons Eugene Barry and wife Ada and Carmine M. Alfano; her daughter Mary Ann Baro and husband Greg; two grandchildren Alexandra and Nicolas; two sisters Adele Dapkus and Genny Pocus. Predeceased by her daughter Nina Baranauskas in 2004.
