Obituary of Anthony J. Salerno

Anthony J. Salerno, 87, of Randolph, passed away Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover. Anthony was born in Morristown and has been a resident of Randolph since 1948. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1945-1946 during WW II. He was owner/operator of Tony's Barber Shop in Dover and retired in 1994 after more than 50 years. He was a member of the Dover Moose Lodge #541 for 50 years and the American Legion Post #391, Mine Hill for 25 years. Survived by his wife Doris (Wilhelm) of 65 years; three children Jean Mikus, Carol Porfido, and Mark; two grandchildren Brenda and Brian Mikus; two great-grandchildren Hunter and Charlotte and his sister Filomina Sperone. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, December 13th, 2013, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6:15 p.m.. Interment is private.
