Mrs. Mary K. Rusnock, 78, of Mine Hill passed away Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Roxbury Township, NJ., following a long illness. Resident of Mine Hill since 1953, moved here from Jeansville, PA, where she was born and raised.
She was a Parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton, NJ.
She graduated from Hazle Township High School in 1948. She was a legal secretary prior to moving to NJ. She also was a waitress at the Kenvil Sub Station for 15 years. She was a past-president of Columbiettes Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council #514 of Dover. She was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.
Survived by her son Matthias & his wife Diane of Fredon Township, NJ,
three daughters Marilyn R. Lis & her husband Gary of Mine Hill Township, NJ,
Linda L. Guadagnino & her husband Alan of Cedar Knolls, NJ and Rosemary Rusnock of Ledgewood, NJ.; eight grandsons Matthias & Jason Rusnock, Michael, Adam, Gregory & Eric Lis, Andrew & Nicholas Guadagnino; one great-granddaughter Lorelai Lis & one great-grandson Lincoln Lis.
Also survived by three brothers Robert Oscovitch of Levittown, PA, John Oscovitch of Jeansville, PA and James Oscovitch of Hopatcong, NJ; two sisters Dorothy McElwaine of Dover, NJ and Ann Marie Kasarda of Hackettstown, NJ Predeceased in 2005 by Matthias M. Rusnock, her husband of 53 years and also her mother Mary Oscovitch the same year.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wharton, NJ. at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17th, 2009.
Visitation Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ. (www.tuttlefh.com)
Interment at Holy Trinity R.C. Slovak Church Cemetery, Hazleton, PA.
