LAURENCE DAVID, 74 LEDGEWOOD Laurence David, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Dover on Saturday,November 6, 2010 after a short illness. He was 74 years old.Born in Tanjore,India,Mr. David was a resident of Ledgewood for the last 10 years,prior to that he had lived in Yorktown Heights,NY.Mr. David was a Senior Accountant for Virgin Atlantic Airlines in Norwalk,CT,retiring in 2007,after 11 years.He graduated from the Madras Christian College in 1958 and was a member of the Madras Christian College Alumni Association.He had a passion for traveling,listening to music,sports,history and current events.He is survived by: Hilda, his wife of 52 years.His daughter Premila Mary Kumar and her husband Vijay of Rockaway.His son Anand David of Hartsdale,NY. His two grandchildren Deepak and Preethi. His two sisters Padmini Bhaskar of Seattle,WA and Vasantha Theodore of Brooklyn,NY. His two brothers Jeyraj David of Cortland,NY and Winston David of San Antonio,TX.Mr. David was predeceased by his parents Ebenezer and Mary Kamala David and his brother Wilfred David.The visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home,272 Route 10 West,Randolph,NJ www.Tuttlefh.com from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2010. The Funeral service will be on Tuesday,November 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Denville Community United Methodist Church,190 Diamond Spring Rd. Denville,NJ.The Interment will follow the Funeral at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla,NY.
