JAMES E. MINERS, SR. Age:59 DOVER James E. Miners, Sr., passed away after a long illness on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Kindred Hospital in Dover.Born and raised in Dover, Mr. Miners served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nimitz during the Vietnam War.He was a Foreman for New Jersey Transit in Dover,retiring in 2007 after 18 years.He loved fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.He is survived by: Diane, his wife of 39 years, His two sons:James Jr. and his wife Renee of Dover, Joseph and his fiance Jill of Dover.Two grandchildren:Gracelyn and Christopher.His parents: Peter and Edith Miners of Mine Hill.Two brothers: Peter J. and Alfred,both of Mine Hill and his sister: Rose Franz of Lafayette.A visitation will be held on Tuesday,November 9, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9PM at Tuttle Funeral Home,272 Route 10 West,Randolph. www.Tuttlefh.com .The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 9, at 7:30PM.Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to:The American Cancer Society,Eastern Division Inc.,Att:Memorial Processing Center,6725 Lyons St.,PO Box 7, East Syracuse,NY 13057
