Obituary of Helen Ann Insalaco

Helen Ann Insalaco, 90, of Toms River, passed away Thursday, September 23rd, 2010, at home following a short illness. Born in New York City, NY. Resident of Toms River since 1998, resided in Roselle for 27 years before retiring to Texas 1982-1998. She was a member of The Calvary Lighthouse Church, Lakewood. Helen received her BA Degree from Hunter College, NY. She worked as a Teacher for the Roselle Public Schools, Roselle, and retired in 1982 after 16 years. Member of the Red Hatters of Lake Ridge, the Italian Club of Lake Ridge and also the Women's Club. Survived by three daughters Mary Ellen Garofalo of Rockaway Township, Joan Starkowsky of OH, and Nancy Ford of CO, son John of Jackson and her sister Dorothy Gallagher of CA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Joseph A. in 2004 and grandson David in 2008. Visitation Sunday, September 26th, 2010, 2 - 6 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 27th, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment will follow at St. Rocco's Cemetery, Pittston, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to St. Rocco's Church, 59 Tompkins Street, Pittston,, PA 18640-1138. 1 Attached Images
