Leland "Lee" P. Wight, 84, of Mine Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. Born in Beloit, WI. Resident of Mine Hill since 2002, moved here from Hackettstown.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp.
He was the Owner/Operator at P. & L. Painting, Hackettstown and retired in 1995 after 15 years.
Survived by his wife Carole Prudhomme Wight; two children Karen Hintz of Randolph and Geoffrey Wight of Wellington, FL. Also survived by five grandchildren Christopher, Sarah Karaces, Matthew, Alexander, and Francesca and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis, his sister Virginia and brother Roger.
Memorial Visitation Friday, August 20, 2010, 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Fern United Methodist Church, 443 Quaker Church Road, Randolph (973-366-4418), at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Mt. Fern United Methodist Church, 443 Quaker Church Road, Randolph, NJ 07869 .
