Obituary of Salvatore P. Dolce

Salvatore P. Dolce, 81, of Denville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 31, 2010, after a short illness. Visitation is on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, www.tuttlefh.com. The Funeral Mass is on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Denville. Entombment is in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Born in North Arlington on July 31, 1929, Mr. Dolce lived in Denville for 38 years. He was the owner and operator of Harmony Heating and Plumbing in Rockaway for over 50 years. Mr. Dolce served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Rockaway River Country Club, Denville, and the Mariner Sands Country Club, Stuart, Fla. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Mr. Dolce is survived by his son, Robert and his wife, Cindy; sister, Catherine Lombardi; five grandchildren, and daughter, Katie. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; daughter, Carol Simpson; four brothers and two sisters.
