Obituary of Susan Mary Cicchetti Clipperton

SUSAN MARY CICCHETTI CLIPPERTON AGE: 54 MINE HILL Susan Mary Cicchetti Clipperton, of Mine Hill, entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2010 at her home. Sue was born June 30, 1956 in Denville, NJ to Frank & Mary (Decker) Cicchetti and resided in Dover and Mine Hill all her life. A 1974 graduate of Dover High School, she completed Practical Nursing studies at Morris County Vocational School. She had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at St. Claire's Hospital in Denville and for several area Physicians. She was a communicant of St. Cecelia's R.C. Church in Rockaway. Susan married George Clipperton on December 8, 1989 and has one son, Nicholas, who she loved dearly and adored. Susan was very active in the Dover High School Marching Band Parents Association, serving as Vice President during the 2007-2008 school year. She loved reading novels and was a lifelong, devoted Jets and Mets fan. Susan especially loved being a TCNJ Mom and was very proud of her son's accomplishments there. Surviving, in addition to her parents, husband and beloved son, are brothers F. Paul Cicchetti, Jr. and his wife Charlotte of Beachwood; Thomas Cicchetti and his significant other Sandee of Allamuchy; and David Cicchetti and his wife Elizabeth of Rockaway Township. Susan is also survived by her niece and God-daughter Lauren, Thomas, the nephew she doted on, and dear niece Melissa. Sue had numerous close friends whom she cherished. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Rockaway Twp. at 10 AM on Monday, July 19, 2010. (973-627-0313).
