Obituary of Charlotte A. Anderson

Charlotte A. Anderson, 92, of Mt. Olive Township, passed away Friday, July 9th, 2010 at Paragon Village, following a short. She was a member of The First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clifton. She worked as a Administrative Assistant at Time Life International, New York City, NY, and retired in the mid 1970's after 30 years. Life member of NJ District 6 Vasa Order of America; member of Runneberg Lodge 206 in NJ and the first All State Chorus in NJ. Throughout her life she was an accomplished soloist and choir member. Survived by her stepchildren Barbara Sifrit of FL, Kevin Anderson of Saddle Brook, Gayle Aselta of Saddle Brook, Joy Hulvey of MI and Lyle Anderson of VA. Also survived by her sister Beatrice Huslage of Mt. Olive and nieces and nephews Ruth Rupprecht of Mt. Olive, Dr. Susan Huslage of New Brunswick, John Huslage of NY and Mark Huslage of MD; also by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great and grandnieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Carl Tornroth in 1963; her second husband Oswald Mattson in 1972, and third husband Jonas Anderson in 2004. Visitation Thursday, July 15, 2010, 3-5 & 7-8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Friday, July 16, 2010 at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
