Obituary of Robert A. Jenkins

Robert A. Jenkins, 54, of Rockaway Township, passed away Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at home, following a short illness. He worked as a Firefighter and was Past Captain at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township. Retired in December 2009 after 26 years. He was a Volunteer Firefighter and Past Chief of the Birchwood Fire Co. No 4 since 1975. Currently had been Department Chief of the Rockaway Township Fire Department, and past driver for the Dover Fire Department. Former Owner/Operator of Bob Jenkins Construction for 26 years. Survived by his wife Wanda; two children Danny and Jason both of Rockaway Township; his parents Harold and Kay Jenkins of Rockaway Township; five siblings David of Rockaway Township, Donna of Florida, Scott of Alabama, and Jimmy and Terry both of Rockaway Township. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, July 11, 2010, 2 - 6 pm. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12th, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
