John "Jack" A. Kennedy, 67, of Morris Plains, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, following a long illness. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant and was Co-owner at Kennedy & Haig, P.A. in Livingston, for 40 years Parishioner of St. Virgil's R.C. Church in Morris Plains. He was a member of Peace Pipe Country Club of Denville, President Peace Pipe Membership Association, Past Grand Knight Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus #235, former District Deputy Knights of Columbus, Past President Livingston Rotary Club, Past President St. Philomenas Parent Teacher Association, Livingston, Past President St. Virgil's Parent Teacher Association. He also managed and coached Morristown National Little League and Babe Ruth for 10 years. Survived by his wife Dolores Kennedy; his children Colleen Huber of Flanders, John Kennedy of Whitehouse Station, Kevin Kennedy of St. Petersberg, FL and Kathryn Kennedy of Flemington. Also survived by his step-children Judi Russo of Virginia Beach, VA, Thomas Schleifer of Sussex County and Dolores Gresalfi of Virginia Beach, VA; 4 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, May 6, 2010, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Virgil's R.C. Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, 07950 (973-538-1418), at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
