Obituary of Marie D. Connor

Marie D. Connor, 81, of Toms River, passed away Wednesday, November 20 th , 2013, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Marie was born in Newton and resided in Florida and Mt. Olive Twp. for many years before moving to Toms River in 2012. Marie worked as a retail associate at Walmart in Mt. Olive Twp. She retired in 2009 after 21 years. Survived by her husband William Metzner; one daughter Christine Hopler and her husband Ed of Succasunna; one son Robert W. Jr., and his wife Linda of Budd Lake. Also survived by four grandchildren Kelly Anacker and her husband Stephen, Kevin Hopler and his wife Rebecca, Megan Socaciu and her husband Dan, and Dana Connor; four great grandchildren Lila Anacker, Noah Anacker, Luke Hopler, and Declan Hopler. Predeceased by her first husband Robert W. Connor Sr., in 1985. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24 th , 2013 at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Rt. 10, Randolph, ( www.tuttlefh.com ). A Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 25 th , 2013, also at the funeral home. Interment followed the service at Locust Hill Cemetery.
