Mrs. Joanna J. Lech, 88, of Succasunna passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Merry Heart Assisted Living. Resident of Merry Heart Assisted Living for over a year. Previous resident of Belvidere, Syndersville, PA and Manville.
Mrs. Lech was born in Hanover Township, PA.
She worked as a clerk at Ethicon in Bridgewater, and retired in 1984 after 23 years.
Member of Rosary Society Sacred Heart Church, Manville. She loved to travel and visited all 50 states.
Survived by two daughters Dianna Sullivan of Rockaway and Joanna Kropewnicki of Whitehouse Station; one son Walter L. of Milford; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters Isabel Blazejewski, Josephine Buzin, and Anna Shedloski. Predeceased by her husband Walter J. in 1995.
Visitation Thursday, April 8, 2010, 4 - 8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Rockaway (973627-0313) at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested in her memory to Catholic Charities, 24 DeGrasse St., Paterson NJ 07505.
