Mrs. Catherine T. Ruby, 78, of Mt. Arlington, passed away suddenly at home, Thursday, April 1st, 2010. Resident of Mt. Arlington since 1980, moved here from Jersey City. Mrs. Ruby was born in Staten Island, NY. She was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher for the Jersey City Board of Education, Jersey City, and retired in 1992 after 35 years. Former President and Chairwoman of the Hudson Catholic High School in Jersey City. Survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald F.; two sons Michael P. of Long Branch and Thomas D. of Wharton; one grandson Michael P., Jr.; two nieces Margaret Taylor and Linda Taylor; three nephews John Taylor, Donald Taylor, and James Taylor and also two grandnephews Jay Taylor and Scott Taylor. Visitation Monday, April 5th, 2010, 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday 3-5 & -7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Mt. Arlington, (973-398-0240) Wednesday, April 7th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
